Air-insulated Switchgears (AIS)

Gas-insulated Switchgears (GIS)
GIS uses sulphur hexafluoride (SF6) or other insulating gases as the insulating medium. SF6 allows for a more compact switchgear equipment design than air-insulated switchgear (AIS).
